Exercise is the best and healthiest way to stay in shape. It is very important for our physical and mental health. Regular exercise not only helps maintain a healthy body weight, but also protects us from many mental health problems. But when you stop exercising for whatever reason, its effects start to show on your body. Rapid weight gain, weakness or persistent illness, etc. But do you know how skipping a workout can affect our mental health?

According to the British Medical Journal, 10 to 40 minutes of exercise can increase your concentration. It is useful for increasing blood flow to your brain. This may be related to increased levels of chemicals in the blood, such as endorphins, which help put your brain in a state of alertness.

According to the New England Journal of Medicine, exercise produces proteins in our bodies called myokines, which can help protect our brains from stress and depression. But when you stop exercising, these mood boosters stop flowing.

So ladies, whatever happens, don’t skip the exercise. Exercising regularly not only helps you wear the clothes of your choice, but also helps increase focus, productivity and happiness.
