We are often hungry for hours. Since we are hungry, we continue to work. Skip the breakfast that is taken at a certain time. Thinking that the longer you stay hungry, the fat on your stomach or waist will decrease. But you are thinking completely wrong. The longer you eat, the fewer calories you will burn. This is the reason that despite a controlled diet during fasting, our weight increases (fasting causes weight gain). Because we eat after being hungry for a long time.

the timing of our meals is important

At least that’s what a recent study says. Timing of eating to burn fat. If you have breakfast at 8 am, then this time must be designated for breakfast. Instead of burning fat at 10 or 12 o’clock instead of 8 o’clock, it will accumulate.

Appetite suppresses more than burdened calorie intake

The study was recently published in the journal Cell Metabolism. According to authors Leonie R. Collins, Peter J. Morgan, energy balance, metabolism, and appetite also affect daily calorie burn. An overloaded caloric intake in the morning leads to greater appetite suppression and calorie burning. This helps in weight reduction. According to the study, participants who ate food after a certain time were twice as likely to feel hungry.

Obesity associated with skipping breakfast

“Women who consumed food after four hours also noticed significant differences in their hunger levels, how they burned calories after eating, and how they stored fat,” the researchers said.

The circadian rhythm affects key bodily functions such as body temperature and heart rate. It also affects the absorption of fuel in the body. The study suggests that subsequent feeding may also include increases in appetite, hormone and gene expression. There was a tendency for less fat breakdown and more fat deposition during fat metabolism.

In a previous study, diet was linked to weight gain. But this research found that skipping breakfast is linked to obesity.

If you are more hungry, you will burn less fat

All participants were in good health. No one suffered from diabetes or worked in shifts. Therefore, it is likely to affect the circadian rhythm. They also participated in regular physical activities.

Know that the hungrier you are, the less fat you will burn. The researchers found that late eaters had lower levels of the hormone leptin, which signals a feeling of satiety, than early eaters. Late eaters were also found to have increased levels of the hunger hormone ghrelin. Eating late affects ghrelin and leptin levels, which also affect sleep.

Therefore, if you want to lose weight, then it is important not to suppress your appetite and eat food at the right time.
