Herbs are very important in Ayurveda. There are many herbs in India that are also used as medicine. Herbs have been used in India for thousands of years to treat many ailments. In India, home remedies are used to treat many things. There are many home remedies for hair, skin, cough and cold. Today let us know about some herbs (Benefits of Ayurvedic Herbs) which are very good for your health.

There are many herbs in the kitchen

Most herbs are available only in our kitchen. We use them for hair and skin, but they are also used for health. My mother uses these herbs in various dishes from breakfast to dinner. It not only improves digestion but also gives a natural glow to the skin. Tell us here how these herbs can benefit you.

Herbs are used for these health benefits

strengthens the digestive system
Strengthens body functions
stimulates blood circulation
disinfects the respiratory system
heals the nervous system
protects the membrane of the mix

Here are some special herbs and their benefits that are my mom’s favorite

1 Tulsi (holy basil)

Tulsi is antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, digestive and anti-bacterial. Can be used in tea or eaten on its own. It is an adaptogenic herb and strengthens the immune system. My mother always includes basil leaves in her morning tea.

2 turmeric

This yellow herb is popular in Asian curries and Mediterranean dishes. It also works to strengthen the tissues while healing and cleansing the skin. Turmeric can be used fresh or in powdered form. It is considered good for blood coagulation. It is also used in making golden milk.

3 Coriander

Coriander relieves stomach, intestinal spasms, bloating and gas. Widely used with meat, seafood, hot peppers, avocado, Thai, Mexican and Indian. Coriander is mostly used to decorate dishes.

4 Ashwagandha

An adaptogenic herb, this herb brings balance and helps us to strengthen body function by reducing the effects of stress. Ashwagandha helps to calm the nervous system. It is usually added to tea.

5 Garlic

It is anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory. It is used with meat, fish, salads, pasta sauces, cheese and vegetables. Garlic is known to stimulate blood circulation and also help in detoxifying the respiratory tract.

6 mint (region)

Relieves the intestines from gastrointestinal disorders, nausea and antispasmodic. It has a cool and refreshing taste. Used in frozen drinks, Middle Eastern cuisine, green or fruit salads, fish and poultry.

You can also use these traditional herbs in these ways (How to use herbs in daily diet)

Add chopped leaves or parsley to egg omelets.

Add some mint and/or basil leaves to the sandwich.

You can add fresh coriander leaves to the burger.

Add a pinch of dried oregano or thyme to salad dressings.
