Meditation is considered to be the oldest practice in India. It calms the mind. Recent studies have shown that meditation can reduce stress. The benefits of meditation are only possible when done with mindfulness. It also balances blood pressure and heart rate. This can have a positive effect on heart health. Stress damages heart health the most

Deepak Mittal, Ph.D., founder of Divine Soul Yoga, explains: “Psychological stress is associated with the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis and the sympathetic nervous system (SMS).hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis and sympathetic nervous system) Enhanced activity. What research says about heart health and meditation

In 2021, the American Journal of Biomedical Science and Research published a report on the effects of meditation on heart rate. This led to the conclusion that meditation helps the heart rate slow down and become more consistent over time. This suggests that meditation may be effective in preventing heart disease.

The International Journal of Exercise Science published a study in 2017 on the effects of meditation on stressed college students. During the 6-week meditation program, their increased blood pressure and pulse rate decreased significantly.

Meditation is not just a skill, it’s a practice

Dr Deepak Mittal said: “Once people understand the basics of the practice, their next challenge is to make it a habit. For this, lifestyle changes are required. Indeed, incorporating meditation into daily activities takes time. But by trying, we can succeed.

Practice Mindfulness Meditation Like This to Boost Heart Health

Meditation can also better boost your heart health. You have to follow a few things in practice.

1 Sit in a comfortable position. Close your eyes.

Don’t let the outside world and any thoughts dominate the mind.
