Who does not like the beauty and smell of flowers? Stress can go away in minutes. But did you know that flowers can also keep your heart healthy? If you have any heart related problems, it can also treat it. The leaves of the flower can be consumed directly in salads or as a mouth freshener. But it can also be consumed in the form of tea, decoction, oil of flower leaves. Rose petals keep the heart healthy.

3 flowers mentioned here are good for heart health

Many studies show that flowers help control blood pressure. Lowers cholesterol levels and also strengthens mental health. Some flowers such as jasmine and marigold also improve the digestive system.

However, more research is being done on flowers about how they work in the body. But research on the 3 flowers mentioned here has proven that they are beneficial for heart health.

1 Lily of the valley

Bell-shaped white lily. This flower is found mainly in Eurasia and North America. Lily is grown in shady places.

It is used in the diagnosis of various heart problems. It also helps in healing veins. Lily of the valley was used to treat soldiers who fainted from poison gas during World War I.

According to a 1995 research article published in the Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry, the root, rhizome, and dried flower tips of lily of the valley are used medicinally. It mainly works on the heart muscle. It controls the heart rate and helps keep the heart healthy.

2 Lavender

According to a 2012 research report published in PubMed Central, inhalation of lavender essential oil also had significant effects on the central nervous system, autonomic nervous system, and mood response. 20 participants were involved in this study. The participants were massaged with lavender oil.

This oil was applied to his hands and neck. This reduced excitement due to anxiety. Blood pressure and increased heart rate returned to normal. The wonders of lavender oil have also helped to regulate skin temperature.

3 roses

Roses are rich in vitamin C, according to scientist Douglas Manuel and study coordinator Jenny Lim. It has anti-inflammatory properties. Its leaves are useful for many diseases related to the heart.

The flavonoids, bioflavonoids, citric acid, fructose, malic acid, tannin and zinc contained in it are very beneficial for our heart.

If the leaves of the rose flower are eaten with the bark of the arjuna tree, the benefits are doubled. Boil both of them together and make a decoction. To keep the heart healthy, you can drink half a cup of decoction every day.
