They can have many different symptoms, which can help you recognize them. There are many types of allergies. Some allergies are seasonal, while others occur year-round. Some allergies can last a lifetime.

Allergies occur when your body’s immunity perceives a certain substance as a threat. This happens due to an allergic reaction. Substances that cause allergies are called allergens. Avoiding allergens is the best way to prevent allergies.

So let’s get to know the different types of allergies.

1. Allergies to insects

Bees, wasps and flying ants are the most common stinging insects that cause allergic reactions. In addition, even stingless insects can cause allergies. The most common of them are cockroaches and mites. Allergies to these two insects can last for years and cause asthma.

2. Allergy to latex

A latex allergy is an allergic reaction caused by natural rubber latex. A latex allergy is latex present in gloves, balloons, condoms and other natural rubber products. A latex allergy can pose serious health risks.

3. Allergies to mold

Mold is a type of fungus. Because mushrooms grow in many places indoors and outdoors, allergic reactions to them can occur throughout the year.

4. Pat Allergy

It is common for you to be allergic to furry pets. It is important to know that there is no non-allergic breed of dog or cat.

5. Allergy to pollen

Pollen is one of the most common triggers of seasonal allergies. Many people know pollen allergy as “hay fever,” but experts usually call it “seasonal allergic rhinitis.”

nasal congestion
runny or stuffy nose

cough
skin rash or itching
headache in the morning
sore throat or itching
difficulty breathing if you are allergic to asthma

People who easily suffer from allergies, in addition to the cleanliness of the house, should also take care of many things such as –

Vacuum regularly to remove dust from under and behind furniture.

Keep away from dusty clothes and wash them regularly. For example – carpets, pillows, curtains, etc.

Use hypoallergenic covers on mattresses and pillows to reduce dust mites.

Wash curtains, bed linen and pillows regularly with warm water.

Use top quality air filters in your HVAC system and change them often.

Keep food tightly sealed, clean counters to avoid attracting pests.

Do not allow moisture to settle in any one place so that mold does not develop anywhere. Sunlight the house well.

Bathing pets daily. And wash your bedding regularly.

Keep the bedroom pet-free.

Use a humidifier/dehumidifier depending on your needs.

Use an air purifier in addition to your HVAC air filter; Keep them clean and free of fungus.
