We often bleach to lighten skin or hair color or reduce dark pigmentation. Bleach is a compound that is used for cleaning and disinfecting (bacterial disinfectant) in addition to skin and hair. These can eliminate most types of viruses, bacteria, fungi. Bleach can also be harmful if used in excess. It can also cause skin burns. This is called bleaching. Let us know how bleach burns happen and how to treat them (how to treat bleach burns).

Bleach burns can cause eye irritation. Mouth and throat problems may occur.

infection prevention is necessary

A dangerous problem caused by bleach occurs when bleach is mixed with other household cleaners, especially toilet bowl cleaners and ammonia. Chlorine gas is released from their mixture, which can also cause suffocation. Chlorine gas damages tissue. This can make breathing difficult and can even lead to death.

In the case of a bleach burn, the first thing you need to do is reduce the pain and prevent injury or infection of the burn.

According to the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, wash off the bleach as soon as you feel a burning sensation on your skin. Wash the burned area and its surroundings thoroughly. You can use a mild and medicated soap to clean.

2 Wrap it with a non-stick bandage to prevent infection.

According to the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery, wrap the burned area with a non-stick bandage to protect it from dust, dirt and other infections. Change the dressing twice a day. If it gets wet or dirty, replace it immediately.
