The bright colors and full atmosphere of play during Holi can make one forget all the problems. Color brings a vibrant look to our lives. The lively atmosphere definitely calms and relaxes the mind.

When we see bright colors, it acts as a catalyst for the brain. The brain is filled with good feelings. Bright colors represent the inner light and happiness within us. They make us happy. The effect of colors on mental health has been studied in the journal Frontiers of Psychology. Researchers Mayer and Robinson concluded that expressions of happiness, sadness, and anger all reflect states of mind.
