Every year on Rose Day, you give your partner a rose to make them feel special. But after a few days it dries up every day and has to be thrown away because it’s useless. That’s why today Health Shots has brought you some new ideas to make this Rose Day even more special. Then, without delay, make Rose Day special with these special things for Valentine’s Week.


Here are healthy rose recipes to make Rose Day even more special.

1 rose petal jam

material

water one and a half cups

2 ounces rose petals

sugar 2 cups

Lemon juice 3 tbsp

Pomona fruit pectin 1 tsp

How to make rose petal jam

Put water and rose petals in a container. Cook uncovered on low heat for 10 minutes.

Add 1 ¾ cup sugar to the boiling petals. Mix well after adding the sugar.

After mixing well, add lemon juice to it.

Cook on low heat for 10 minutes.

In a small bowl, combine the remaining ¼ cup sugar and the pectin.

Add the pectin and sugar mixture to the jam, stirring constantly, and sprinkle to make sure the pectin is mixed in without any lumps

Cook for another 20 minutes. The jam may seem a little runny at first, but it will solidify as it cools.

It lasts up to 2 months in the fridge and freezes like jam.

2 Gulab laddus (coconut pink laddu)

material

1/2 cup desiccated coconut
Rose syrup 1 tbsp
Ghee 2 tbsp
Condensed milk one and a half cups
Ground dry fruit mix 1/2 cup
Roasted peanuts 1 handful
Rose water 2 tbsp

How to make Gulab laddoos

Heat a pan and put 1 tsp of ghee in it, fry the dry fruits, when the ghee is hot, take them out on a plate after frying, do not fry for too long, otherwise the dry fruits may burn.

In the same pan add 1 tsp ghee and add dry coconut and fry while stirring.

When the coconut is cooked, add the condensed milk, rose syrup, rose water to it and mix well, keeping the flame on a low flame so that nothing burns.

When the laddu mixture is well cooked, add roasted nuts to it. Let the mixture cool down and make small laddus.

Place these laddoos in a small glass jar and tie it well with a ribbon and decorate it. You can also insert your favorite message by typing on it.

3 Pink lip balm

content

Shea butter 1 tbsp

Rose oil 2.5 tbsp

beeswax 1 tbsp

Alkanet root powder

10 drops of peppermint oil

How to make pink lip balm

Pour some rose oil into a small bowl or cup and add some alkanet powder to it, making a thick, dark red paste. Alkanet powder gives the balm a natural shade that colors the lips.

Put the remaining oil, beeswax and shea butter in a heatproof container. Place this container in a container filled with water and bring the water to a boil. Heat until the beeswax and shea butter melt.

Remove the beeswax and shea butter from the hot water and add a little at a time to the alkanet paste and let it color.

Add the peppermint essential oil, mix well and allow to solidify in the lip balm container.


4 rose petal bath salts

material

1 cup epsom salt
1 rose petals
2-4 drops of vanilla essential oil

How to make rose petal bath salts

Put all the ingredients in a food processor or grinder and blend for a few seconds, the petals will break up into lovely little pieces and mix well with your salt. Pack in a beautiful glass jar.
