What is the connection between bathing and stress

According to research published in the year 2018 by PubMed Central, the study was led by Yasuki Goto of Onsen Medical Science Research Center, Japan. 38 people participated in this study. People were divided into 2 groups. Each member of a group was asked to take a bath by fully immersing the body in a bathtub for 10 minutes continuously for 2 weeks. The other group took a shower.

Those who took a bath by submerging their bodies in the bathtub saw an improvement in their mental and emotional health. They had lower levels of stress, anxiety, tension, depression. Their blood flow was also better than the other group. People reported that they feel more emotionally relaxed by taking a bath.

Bathing reduces pain and swelling

A study from the University of Helsinki revealed that bathing by immersing yourself in water reduces pain and swelling. The nervous system calms down. Know this stress And the anxiety level decreases and the mood also improves.

So here are some special types of baths to get rid of stress

1 Bath with herbs

Depending on your preference, choose any herb from chamomile, eucalyptus, lavender, jasmine, mint, grated ginger.

Place it directly in the warm water of the bath, then take a bath. Research suggests that Bathing with your favorite scent not only relieves stress but also improves blood flow. Taking a bath with this water before sleeping will help you sleep well.

2 oatmeal baths

Make a fine powder by grinding the oats. Mix half a cup of oatmeal powder in 1 bucket of warm water for a bath. The water must not be too hot.

Take a relaxing bath by rubbing hands, feet, face, body. All the aches and pains will disappear and the skin will also become soft without any effort.

3 Milk and honey bath

You must have heard that princesses used to bathe with milk in the Mughal Empire.

For this, mix 1 cup of raw milk, 1 teaspoon of honey and some aromatic herbs of your choice in a bowl. Leave it for 15 minutes.

Take a bath by mixing it in lukewarm bath water.

You will get infinite calmness and smoothness of the skin.

4 essential oil baths

Mix 15-20 drops of essential oil in lukewarm bath water.
