We do various exercises to keep our body fit. We go to the gym and sweat so our hearts stay healthy. But recently there has been an increase in cases of heart disease or heart disease at a young age. This problem is especially pronounced among those over the age of 40. These people regularly go to the gym to keep fit. Many studies and experts believe that more exercise in the gym may also be bad for your health. Very strenuous exercise can be detrimental to heart health, especially after aging. Let us know what the research says about this.

strenuous exercise may be bad for the heart

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services issued guidelines for people’s physical activity. According to the guidelines, adults can get 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 75 minutes of vigorous physical activity each week.

Difficult sports include running, cycling, swimming, exercise, dance classes and outdoor sports. On the other hand, walking, hiking, golfing, exercising at home, and gardening are considered moderate-intensity activities.

A total of 3,200 people were then studied for 25 consecutive years according to this guideline. The group is divided into 2 parts. The study began when all participants were young adults. After 25 years, it was found that the CAC developed by middle age in the group that did a lot of high-intensity exercise. (coronary artery calcification) 80% of the risk is detected. CACs are calcium-containing plaques that indicate the possibility of heart disease.

Women who do a lot of activity have a higher risk of heart disease

According to the Copenhagen City Heart Study, young people who jogged regularly had a 9 percent higher rate of heart failure compared with those who jogged lightly. Women who exercise a lot are more likely to suffer from heart disease, stroke, and ruptured blood than women who exercise in moderation, according to the Scientific Journal of the Million Women Study.

But the study wasn’t designed to rule out exercise or encourage a sedentary lifestyle. Instead, experts recommend weight control along with healthy eating and light exercise in midlife to promote heart health.

According to guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, you can reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease through healthy eating to manage stress, refraining from smoking, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness training practices.

don’t exercise when sick

If you’re sick or have a fever, you don’t need to hit the gym to break a sweat. This has a bad effect on the health of the heart. If there is stress due to any problem then this can also have a bad effect on the heart. Therefore, mental health is also important.
