As soon as you hear the name of sago, pictures of foods like white seeds or pearls come to mind. Usually, during fasting, the usual food is discarded and replaced by sabudana dishes. Besides fasting, sago is also used in many dishes. Everyone will know kheer and khichdi of cassava. Did you know that sago, eaten in the form of dishes and dishes, is also good for your health.

What will happen to Sabdana?

Sabudana is a white pearly edible substance. It is made from starch extracted from the root of cassava, which looks like a sweet potato and grows under the soil. At first it was in liquid form. It is then made into small granules like solid beads with the help of a machine.

Find out how Sabudana can benefit your health

1. Sabudana is effective for weight gain

According to USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) research, eating sago can increase weight. Sago contains a lot of calories and carbohydrates. Eating calories and carbohydrates at the same time can lead to weight gain. Both of these help increase fat by absorbing energy in the body.

If you have weak bones, sago can prove beneficial for strengthening bones. According to USDA research, sago contains high amounts of calcium and magnesium. While calcium strengthens bones as they grow, iron helps prevent bone diseases such as osteoporosis. The magnesium in it provides the strength to prevent bone breakage and solve many problems.
