what is my time
Me time means enjoying the time when you enjoy coffee in peace, get your nails done or go to the gym. The time we take out of the busy everyday life to recharge. If you’re new to the word “me time,” don’t worry, we’ve got some great ways to get me time. With which you will not only be able to spend quality time with yourself, but you can express your love for yourself in the right way. To better know and understand Me Time’s methods, we spoke to advisor Rishi Mathur. So let’s know what are some good ways to spend my time.
Use your “Me Time” like this
1 Digital Detox
When you talk about taking “me time”, it is very important that you turn off all kinds of digital devices for those few moments. “Me time” should be calm and relaxing. Do not put pressure on your eyes during this period. Put all your digital devices aside and take time to enjoy nature or your inner peace with your eyes closed. If you want, you can also enjoy a sip of ginger tea or a sip of coffee.
2 Be creative
If you constantly work in the office and are bored with digital devices, take out your diary and pen. Create something and give your creativity a chance to shine. Making mandala art or doodling is my way of spending my time. If you are not interested in drawing, you can cook or dance. These are all great stress busters. Do what makes you happy.
3. Make you feel special
When you’re stuck at work, it’s time to give yourself a little pampering. Go shopping or do something nice for yourself. Or rather just sit somewhere quiet and appreciate yourself for coming this far with a smile, congratulations. Don’t wait for someone else to praise you.
4. Take a rest
After being exhausted all week, you can manage an hour to yourself on Saturday and Sunday, just take a little nap, just take an hour out. Taking a nap or getting enough sleep is the only thing that hardly makes anyone sad.
A 30-minute golden nap in the afternoon will refresh both your mood and your body in winter. So enjoy your “me time” with a short nap.
5. Chat with an old friend
Chatting with an old friend is like opening an old book with lots of memories and fun moments. Everyone should find this kind of “me time” to talk to an old friend. You can also make audio call or video call to your friend to share some good things and memories. But if you live in the same city, meet at a cafe or somewhere peaceful.
