Bloating, gas, indigestion and acidity are the most common problems that we Indians face. All this happens because of fulfilling our cravings. But we need to know how to clean our stomach, how to clean our intestines naturally so that our digestive system can function smoothly.

If the digestive system is to be kept healthy, it is very important to clean the intestine properly so that the body’s toxins are removed. If there is even a slight constipation, it can cause a lot of problems in the body. Therefore, we can adopt some home remedies so that our digestive system works better and removes all toxins from the body.

So let us know some home remedies to cleanse the colon (How to Clean the Colon)

1. Herbal tea

By drinking herbal tea, the digestive system becomes completely clean. There are some laxative herbs like psyllium, aloe vera, marshmallow root that can help regulate bowel movements and treat constipation. However, always consult your doctor before using these herbs and use them sparingly.

Many herbs such as ginger, garlic and cayenne pepper contain antimicrobial compounds known to fight harmful bacteria in the gut. Consume a cup of herbal tea three times a day for better results.

2. Hot water

Warm water cleanses the stomach, speeds up the metabolism and flushes out toxins. In fact, warm water is the key to a natural way to detoxify your system as it helps reduce stomach cramps.

3. Fermented foods

Fermented foods are a natural source of probiotics that are full of beneficial bacteria known to promote gut health. Gut-friendly bacteria help regulate bowel movements and reduce the risk of flatulence, bloating, constipation and other gastrointestinal infections.

Food sources abundant in probiotics include yogurt, kefir, kimchi, sauerkraut, kimchi, pickles, miso kombucha, and apple cider vinegar. Studies show that probiotics play an important role in the prevention of colon cancer.

4. Fiber

Fiber improves bowel movements. Natural foods rich in fiber include: Whole grains, fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, and if the diet lacks fiber, you can also take a fiber supplement such as psyllium.
