What is the right way to do Bhastrika Pranayama
1 sit down
First, sit in a certain posture, says Suresh Sinha. Keep your head and spine straight. Close your eyes. Keep your body steady. Put your left hand on your left knee. Put your right hand on your forehead between your eyebrows.
2 The process of inhalation and exhalation
Close the right nostril. Inhale and exhale quickly 15-20 times through the left nostril. The contraction and expansion of the abdomen should occur rhythmically during inhalation and exhalation. After that, take a deep breath. Hold your breath. Also close the left nostril.
Do 3 Jalandhara Bandha or Moolbandha
Apply Jalandhara (face down with chin close to neck) or Moolabandha (slow and firm suction of air upwards, applying pressure from heels to abdomen). Hold your breath for as long as possible.
4 Exhale with laxatives
Then exhale through the left nostril as you exhale (quick exhale). Do this with your right nostril. Such a frequency is done. Repeat this three times.
Stop by 5 long breaths
After this, place your hands on your knees. Inhale and exhale 20 times through both nostrils. Then stop by taking a deep breath. Repeat the process done previously. Repeat three times for each nostril.
