The birth of a child brings joy to the whole family, but it also brings a sense of responsibility. Responsible for the complete nutrition of the child and the general health of the new mother. In light of this, the mother’s diet should be such that it meets both of these requirements. Fenugreek Pak is one such traditional sweet dish that has been used more as an Ayurvedic medicine than as a sweet.
It is given to mothers after giving birth to a child. It is also used as a treatment for back or joint pain. Many women consume methi pak or fenugreek laddus even while breastfeeding. This is because fenugreek or fenugreek seeds contain galactagogues, which increase the production of breast milk in nursing mothers.

Note the quick way to make Fenugreek Spat
Wash the fenugreek seeds thoroughly (wash the seeds and put them in a thick cotton cloth and let them dry in the sun. The cloth can be washed and reused). Put the cleaned seeds in the mixer and make a thick paste like flour. Then boil milk.
Soak the ground fenugreek in milk for 8-10 hours.
Cut almonds into small pieces. Crush black pepper (crush 1 black pepper into 4-5 pieces), cinnamon and nutmeg on a fine grater. Also peel and grind the cardamom.
Put 1/2 cup of ghee in a pan, roast the soaked fenugreek on a medium flame until it turns light brown, fry until a good smell comes and take it out in a plate.
Put the remaining ghee in the pan and heat it, toast the gum and take it out in a plate (Gum can also be toasted on the pan). Add refined flour to the remaining ghee in the pan and fry until light brown.
Now put 1 tsp of ghee in the pan and add the pieces of jaggery. Add jaggery to the syrup while boiling it on low flame. Add cumin, dry ginger powder, chopped almonds, black pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom to the jaggery syrup and mix well.
Put this mixture in a plate or tin and give it the desired shape. Keep it in the open air for 4-5 hours.
Fenugreek pack is ready, store it in an airtight container and give a fenugreek pack with warm milk every morning or evening to the new mother. It also prevents joint, back and pain caused by cold. You can also add chironji, pistachios or dry fruits of your choice in the Methi Pak.
If you are making fenugreek with sugar, increase the amount of ghee a little by mixing powdered sugar or powdered sugar with other ingredients. So it is easy to give the desired shape to the packing.
