Dark circles around the mouth can spoil the complexion of the face. Anyone can face them due to unhealthy diet and inability to properly care for the skin. Healthy skin means you don’t have any skin problems. Many people start to have a problem with dark circles around the mouth. Unhealthy lifestyle and skin care are often to blame. However, if this problem persists for a long time, it can become a cause for concern.
To learn more, we spoke with Dr. By Anurag Arya, CEO & Dermatologist, Sparsh Skin Care & Laser Center, Meerut, who made us understand the problem in depth.
So let’s first learn about the causes of this problem.
Why are there dark circles around the mouth?
According to Dr. Anurag Arya, dark circles around the mouth can have many reasons, genetic makeup and weight gain. This problem usually occurs in people who have very sensitive serum insulin levels or in people who have a very low basal molecular rate. These problems can be directly related to your weight gain.
According to experts, this problem can appear in women with age. Also, if your weight is also increasing with age, this could be the main reason.
Is there any solution for this?
Dermatologist Anurag Arya believes that for a permanent solution to this problem, you need to take proper care of yourself. For this, it is very important to use sunscreen regularly. Also, it is most important to consult a doctor from time to time.
To avoid this problem, it is also necessary to maintain a healthy weight. Because it will increase your BMR, ie Basal Molecular Rate, and sensitize your serum insulin levels. So if you walk ten thousand steps quickly during the day, this problem can be overcome.
Certain changes in diet should also be made
Our unhealthy diet is also to blame for the problem with dark circles around the mouth. Describing the solution, dermatologist Anurag Arya said that eating a healthy diet and foods rich in vitamin C can be beneficial to overcome this problem. Along with this, along with avoiding fatty foods, excessive consumption of sweets should also be avoided.
Are home remedies effective for this?
Dermatologist Dr Anurag Arya says that it is okay to use home remedies for this problem for some time, but it cannot be a permanent solution. If the problem persists, talking to a doctor may be the only solution.
Also drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. Keeping the skin hydrated is also important for this problem. You should use a good moisturizer for this. But if you have oily skin, using a gel moisturizer can be beneficial.
