Rinse thoroughly with water

Before using shampoo, rinse your hair with water to wash away excess color. Conditioning your hair to prevent damage is essential.

Make sure your hair is conditioned

Soak some fenugreek seeds in four tablespoons of curd to make a simple hair bun. Apply this pack or egg yolk on your scalp and wash your hair with a good quality shampoo after 30 minutes.

Make herbal shampoo

Instead of using artificial shampoo, you can prepare herbal shampoo. It is prepared by soaking 'shikakai', 'reetha' and 'amla' overnight. In the morning, boil it and strain it. Then, wash your hair with it.

Use lemon juice to remove color

You can also use lemon to remove color from your hair. Take a tablespoon of lemon juice and mix it into a cup of curd. Apply it evenly on your scalp and wash your hair with a mild shampoo.

Make a natural paste

Take two tablespoons of calamine powder and mix it with a few drops of honey and rose water to make a paste. Apply it on your face, wash it off with water after drying and apply moisturizer.

Use "besan" and "invisible"

You can also use a mixture of 'besan' and milk to remove the color. You can also apply generous amounts of 'multani-mitti' all over your face and body for a rejuvenated skin.

Glycerin and rose water

You can mix some glycerin and rose water and apply the cooling mixture on your face and skin wherever you wish. Rinse your skin with warm water afterwards to remove the color with ease!

Use detergent

Since the cleanser is enriched with lemon and aloe vera ingredients, it can remove Holi colors easily. You can even use Cetaphil cleanser and antibacterial cream to remove color.

Rub papaya on skin

You can also rub a piece of papaya on your face and body to remove color. Use it to scrub your body to remove color and restore fair and glowing skin.

homemade paste

Make a paste by mixing curd, 'besan', orange peel powder, a pinch of turmeric, a few drops of lemon and a tablespoon of olive oil. Apply this paste as it will help you clean your skin.

homemade hair mask

You can also apply a paste using curd and 'methi' seed powder. Use it as a hair mask after Holi celebrations. This will prevent hair damage and keep your hair nourished.

Be gentle with your body

Use the 'multani mitti' mask every other day for the next two weeks to ensure your skin remains soft.
