Here are some special herbs and their benefits that are my mom’s favorite
1 Tulsi (holy basil)
Tulsi is antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, digestive and anti-bacterial. Can be used in tea or eaten on its own. It is an adaptogenic herb and strengthens the immune system. My mother always includes basil leaves in her morning tea.
2 turmeric
This yellow herb is popular in Asian curries and Mediterranean dishes. It also works to strengthen the tissues while healing and cleansing the skin. Turmeric can be used fresh or in powdered form. It is considered good for blood coagulation. It is also used in making golden milk.
3 Coriander
Coriander relieves stomach, intestinal spasms, bloating and gas. Widely used with meat, seafood, hot peppers, avocado, Thai, Mexican and Indian. Coriander is mostly used to decorate dishes.
4 Ashwagandha
An adaptogenic herb, this herb brings balance and helps us to strengthen body function by reducing the effects of stress. Ashwagandha helps to calm the nervous system. It is usually added to tea.

5 Garlic
It is anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory. It is used with meat, fish, salads, pasta sauces, cheese and vegetables. Garlic is known to stimulate blood circulation and also help in detoxifying the respiratory tract.
6 mint (region)
Relieves the intestines from gastrointestinal disorders, nausea and antispasmodic. It has a cool and refreshing taste. Used in frozen drinks, Middle Eastern cuisine, green or fruit salads, fish and poultry.
